Texas Cottage Law statute specifically provides that cottage food operators can deliver to their customers in general. Thus, if the transaction is made in person (rather than through the internet or by mail order), it is reasonable to use delivery options such as shipping or hiring a driver. But if the transaction is made remotely, the delivery must be in person.

Additionally, if the above conditions are met, be aware that homemade food can only be shipped within Texas. When a food crosses state lines, the federal government (FDA) has authority over not only the interstate transport, but the whole operation that produced it. No cottage food law in the country allows interstate shipping.

Local delivery is available for an additional fee and can be arranged in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate your delivery needs, subject to availability. We’ll work with you to coordinate a delivery time that works for your event. Because the safety of your order is our priority, delivery timing may be adjusted when necessary due to weather, traffic, or road conditions.

When we arrive, we’ll carefully set out your cake and/or desserts unless you’ve made other arrangements with your event coordinator. If you provide a cake or display stand, we’re happy to use it as long as it is stable and appropriate for the setup. If we have any concerns, we’ll discuss them with you or your event coordinator before proceeding.

We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.

Scheduled pickups are available 7 days a week, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Your order will be ready for pickup at our location in Sisterdale / Boerne, Texas. For your privacy and security, the full pickup address and instructions will be provided after payment is received.
